Text Message Program Terms & Conditions

By opting into our SMS messaging services, you agree to receive text messages related to our services, including appointment reminders, customer support, and important updates.

Opt-In & Consent:

• You will only receive messages if you have explicitly opted in
• We maintain timestamped records of all opt-in actions
• We comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and all applicable laws

Opt-Out Instructions:

• You can cancel SMS notifications at any time by replying “STOP”
• You will receive a final confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent unless you re-opt in
• All opt-out requests are processed immediately

Message Frequency & Content:

• Message frequency varies based on your interactions with our business
• Messages will be directly related to the services you have requested
• We do not send promotional content without specific consent

SMS Data Protection Statement

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We implement strict data protection measures to safeguard your SMS opt-in information and consent records.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We may share information with:

Service Providers:

• Third-party vendors who assist in our operations (e.g., payment processing, appointment scheduling)
• SMS aggregators and providers solely for the purpose of delivering messages you've consented to receive
• All service providers are contractually obligated to maintain confidentiality and security

Legal Compliance:

• If required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights
• In response to valid law enforcement requests or court orders

Business Transfers:

• In case of mergers, acquisitions, or sale of assets
• In such cases, your data remains protected under the terms of this policy

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services.

You can sign in with Google and connect Google Calendar and Google Business Profile to your account. We access only the Google data each feature needs, and only after you grant permission on Google's consent screen.

Data we access:

• Sign in with Google: your name, email address, and profile picture, used to create and sign in to your account.
• Google Calendar: we create one secondary calendar named “Bookings — WOWAITECH” and add the appointments your customers book through your assistant to it, with their name, email address, and notes. We read free/busy times from your primary calendar and the Bookings calendar to offer only open time slots; we never read the titles, descriptions, or attendees of your other events. We read the status of the events we created to show when a booking is cancelled.
• Google Business Profile: the list of business locations you manage, the details of the location you choose (name, categories, phone number, address, service area, website, hours, and description), and its reviews (reviewer name, rating, comment, and date). We do not post, edit, or reply to anything on your Business Profile.

How we use it:

• Calendar data is used only to check availability and book appointments for you.
• Business Profile location details are used to fill in your business information when setting up your assistant, and reviews are shown in your dashboard and summarized in review digests sent to the email addresses you choose.
• To set up your assistant and summarize reviews, we send Business Profile data to our AI model provider (OpenRouter, using Anthropic Claude models) solely to produce that result for you.
• We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models.

Sharing:

We do not share Google user data with third parties except the service providers that run our service (hosting, our database, email delivery, and the AI model provider named above), as needed to provide the features you use, or when required by law.

Storage and protection:

Google Calendar and Business Profile access tokens are encrypted at rest. Free/busy times are used when requested and not stored. We store the bookings made through your assistant, the location you connected, and synced reviews so they appear in your dashboard.

Retention, deletion, and revoking access:

• Disconnecting Google Calendar or Business Profile in your dashboard deletes the access tokens we store for it. When you disconnect your last Google connection, we also revoke our access at Google. Disconnecting Business Profile also deletes the Google reviews we synced.
• You can revoke our access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
• To delete stored bookings, reviews, or other Google data, email contact@wowaitech.com and we will delete it within 30 days.

Limited Use:

WOWAITECH's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We implement and maintain reasonable security measures to protect your personal information:

• Encryption of sensitive data in transit and at rest
• Secure access controls and authentication mechanisms
• Regular security assessments and updates
• Employee training on data protection
• Breach notification protocols in accordance with applicable laws
• Secure backup systems and disaster recovery procedures

Despite these measures, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information but cannot guarantee absolute security.
